Author Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentations

Each presentation time slot is 20 minutes including lecture and discussion (questions and answers). Each presentation has its own time slot which cannot be changed or shifted. Therefore, the speakers are expected to make best use of the slot and leave sufficient time, 3-4 minutes, for question and answers. Presenters must check-in with the Session Chair prior to the session start.

The presenters can upload their presentation slides in the session room before the start of the session. All presentation rooms are equipped with a computer, a data projector, and a microphone. You can also use your own computer if necessary. A slide template is attached to this email if you would like to use it, but it is not required.

A PDF version of their poster/slides are due via a personal link sent to your email on May 12, 2023.

Poster Presentations

The interactive poster session will start with a short 2-minute oral introduction by each presenter in turn. Afterwards, presenters are expected to stay in front of their posters to present their work to interested attendees with more in-depth technical discussions.

The poster area includes poster boards of 1.35m wide and 1m high, so any poster should be smaller than this. They are suitable for A0 size posters in landscape orientation. A template is attached if you would like to use it, but it is not required. Please print your poster ahead of time and bring it with you to the conference on the day of your session.

In addition, push tacks or Velcro adhesive will be provided for mounting the posters. The presenters have time to mount their poster during the transition prior to each session. They must check-in with the Session Chairs prior to the session start and remain with their posters throughout the session. Failing to do this may lead to marking no-show or absence of the author. Please remove your poster at the end of your allocated session. Posters left mounted to the boards after the end of the session will be removed and disposed of.
